The 11 Wards Union Kiphire has appealed to the public of Kiphire town not to take any tribe name in creating untoward situation in the town, while it also warned that action would be taken against anyone or group violating the appeal. The Union has extended full support to the decision taken by the Kiphire district administration during the meeting in the DC conference hall on February 9 with all the tribal leaders/ GBs/ DBs forum/ HoDs/ chairmen of all wards in Kiphire with appeal for peace in Tuensang.
The Union also requested the two brothers (Yimchunger and Chang) to forgive and forget about the past as a good Christian and to solve the issue through dialogue and to maintain peace in Tuensang district.
