District Health Society (DHS), Kiphire organised one day health mela at Mimi Village, one of the remotest villages in Nagaland.
DHS team led by CMO Kiphire Dr. Ponsokui included Dy. CMO Dr. Tinurenla, DPO ( RCH & UIP ) Dr.Rebecca Y Sema, MO Dr. Chukuse, Dentist Dr. Akhuole, MO (SHP) Dr.Amos, MO (RBSK) Dr. M akum, DPO (DAPCU) Tsiatsuvi, nurses, IEC staff and lab technicians.
Altogether, 246 patients availed free health service, which included 36 eye patients, pediatrics -69, general medicine 98, gynecological 22 and dental 21. Even the Naga-Burmese availed health service during the camp.
Immunization service was also availed for children and pregnant mothers. IEC materials were distributed to the villagers.
