Asserting that it was dismayed by allocation of cabinet berth in the DAN ministry, NPF Kiphire area unit of 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency Tuesday said despite “ample reason” to offer ministerial berth to the representative of the constituency, T.Torechu, the party denied the privilege.
In a press release, Kiphire area unit president A Rhaki pointed out that Torechu won the last three elections with good margins and firmly aligned with the NPF since he won the first election.
It wondered how the nominating committee had to neglect the district in general by not awarding cabinet seat, depriving a senior leader like Torechu, who always had faith in the party.
NPF Kiphire area unit stated the outcome of Torechu’s sincerity to the party was what frustrated NPF 60 Pungro-Kiphire assembly constituency.
“To renew faith on party the unit has the hope that the committee will satisfy the constituency by allotting some important portfolio in the DAN ministry,” said unit president.
