The Eastern Nagas in Nagaland comprise of six major tribes of Nagaland.They are:Chang,Khiamniungan,Konyak,Phom,Sangtam and Yimchunger,inhabiting Kiphire,Longleng,Mon and Tuensang districts.The festivals of Chang,Khiamniungan,Konyak,Phom,Sangtam and Yimchunger are Naknyulem (July 2nd week),Tsokum (Oct 1st week),Aoleang Monyu(April 1st week),Monyu( April 1st week),Amongmong(Sept 1st week) and Metumniu(Aug 2nd week)respectively.Some Eastern Nagas also resides in Myanmar,Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.

ENPO clean election campaign on Feb 5
The ENPO along with the six tribal bodies of Eastern Nagaland viz CKS, KU, KTC, PPC, USLB and YTC will be organising ‘common platform cum clean election’ campaign in the four district headquarter of Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Kiphire on February 5. All the intending candidates, council chairman, head gaonboras, VDB secretaries and prominent political leaders, also federating units-ENSF and ENPO are requested to assemble in their respective district headquarters to participate in the programme without fail. ENPO president P Pongom in a press release had requested the tribal presidents to ensure especially the presence of all intending candidates and all the necessary arrangement to host the function.
